Although, technically, Halloween isn't until tomorrow, my runnin' crew and I celebrated the holiday (which has as much validity and sanctity as Yom Kippur and Sweetest Day) this weekend. It's been the most fun I've had in quite some time and seeing a lot of old friends and faces made me rather nostalgic.
After Suz, Zach, Timmy, Todd, and I shared a "T-Bone" (an exclusive drink honoring Timmy; it contains a clusterfuck of assorted whiskey shots) at the Green Street Cafe hookah bar, we began the party-hopping. To my estimate, we went to about five parties that night. The first party was rather lame; no music and -- I shit you not -- someone's parents were there. I'd rate it PG.
The other parties were indeed spiffy, and a random list of the night's activities included:
Bumpin'-and-grindin' with a certain pirate lady.
Meeting a bunch of awesome artsy/creative doods whose costumes included The Shredder, April O'Neil, Krang, The Rat King, Leatherhead, Baxter Stockman, Casey Jones, and a Footsoldier.
Dave Banko.
The mysterious disappearance and subsequent quest for a certain keg.
Finding out that NO ONE is living in my old house.
Revisiting my old CPM apartment.
Being introduced to the Smarties-flavored, alcoholic energy drink, Sparks.
Some really drunk dood who kept calling me Peter.
Being called a yellow Klu Klux Klan member in my banana suit.
People pissing on a friend's ex-lover's car.
Finding out that it's relatively difficult to piss in a toilet while wearing a large banana suit.
Seeing Tim get moody (running joke of the weekend-- "Mood: Moody").
Introducing Zach to "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
Eating Curry Chicken and Cheese Rangoon at Bobo Chinese Restaurant.
Watching two consecutive episodes of the hit MTV dating-series, "Next."
All in all, I'd say the rest of the night was rated R. And without further adieu, photos documenting this weekend are on my Flickr.
Also, in honor of Halloween, here are all the Halloween comics I've made for the Daily Illini:
